Dotted Account Deletion

Dotted lets users request deletion of their account and associated data. You can do this either inside the app or from the web.

Delete from the app

Open Dotted.
Go to Settings.
Open the Danger Zone.
Tap Remove Account.
Confirm the deletion request.

Delete from the web

Email support@dotted.app from the email address linked to your Dotted account with the subject line Delete My Dotted Account.

If you no longer have access to that email address, include any details that help us verify the account before deletion.

What we delete

Your Dotted account profile and account-linked preferences.
Saved items, follows, and account-linked notification identifiers.
Other account-linked data that is not required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

What we may retain

Records we are required to keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance reasons.
Aggregated or de-identified analytics that no longer identify you personally.

Processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
